After plenty of criticism former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer released part of his 2011 and 2012 income tax returns. However, the New York Daily News reports that Spitzer still withheld portions of his returns. Spitzer didn't reveal his business holdings, deductions, and charitable donations.

According to his income tax returns, Spitzer earned at least $2.5 million in 2012 from five buildings he owns. According to the NY Daily News, Spitzer also raked in over $500,000 from CNN even after his show was cancelled in 2011.

Spitzer, who is running for city comptroller, was criticized by opponent Scott Stringer for not releasing his full tax returns. Stringer has reportedly released five years of his full tax returns.
