R&B singer Ginuwine is causing speculation after posting a picture of his daughter coming home with a bunch of singles. He suggest that he thinks his daughter 19-year, Cypress, is hitting the pole for money.
"My daughter just came in should I be asking so questions !????? Man I gotta stay home@more this is getting catastrophic."
Cypress isn't Ginuwine's biological daughter. She is his former wife's R&B singer Sole's, from a former marriage. Sole and Ginuwine started dating in 1999 and tied the knot in 2003.
To say the least, Sole was not happy with Ginuwine's little stunt. She took to twitter to defend her daughter.
"That was NOT my daughters money that @Ginuwine posted.. It was HIS & his sick idea of a joke..Been trying to keep silent but he needs help. I’ve remained silent but my child will not be publicly humiliated by a sick joke by some1 who's judgment is impaired."
Ginuwine then took to Instagram to defend himself as well as apologizing, saying people can not take a joke and "sorry Cycy."
"To all the idiots that can’t take a joke I gave my daughter this money and said something stupid that I thought people would be able to take for a joke wow these days you really got to be careful what you say I mean do you actually think I would be calling my daughter anything other than my angel sorry Cycy."
