Born and raised in the Washington DC area, I grew up listening to Donnie Simpson. Yes, Video Soul-BET Donnie Simpson. That pretty much did it for me. I fell in love with radio!! Fast forward to College, I attended Marietta College in Ohio and majored in Radio/TV. After my junior year I interned at WPGC in Washington D.C. in a few departments. Went back to school and graduated and started my career part time at WPGC. Working again in a few departments I landed my full-time/part time (full time work hours, part time pay:) job at WPGC working with Donnie Simpson. I will spare you all the details and make the rest of this short. I moved to Philly and worked at Power 99. Held various jobs one of which was producing the great Wendy Williams. Left Philly and returned to WPGC. 6 months after returning to WPGC I became the Music Director. Being a Music Director in my hometown at the age of 28 was the ultimate dream come true for me. After 2 years I needed to advance my career and moved back to Philly but this time to work at the rival station to Power 99. I was now the Music & Marketing Director at 100.3 The Beat until 2006. The opportunity of a lifetime came a knockin when I was offered Morning Show Producer at Power 105 in New York city for The Ed Lover Show on Power 105.1.

Music: Parents are from Trinidad & Tobago. Grew up with calypso and reggae all the time. And yes, I have been to Carnival! My brother loved go-go and hip hop. My Mom kept me in predominantly white schools so I got my love of pop music from my friends (80's pop music rules!!!!). Going to College in Marietta, Ohio I learned about country music-love me some Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. Some "must haves" for me are Anita Baker "Rapture" album, The Best of Switch--ya'll dont know nuthin about that!, DeBarge greatest hits. I love the 80's material from Bon Jovi. I would say that my favorite genre of music is R&B. I love a good, tear jerkin, drippy ballad

Movies: Grease-hated the sequel. Pretty Woman, Steel Magnolias, Oceans 11, West Side Story, Dodgeball, Krush Groove-yeah I said it!

TV: Desperate Housewives, Army Wives and Boston Legal are must see tv. Guilty pleasures-Reality TV!!! I think I need some type of rehab or something. I can honestly say I have watched 95% of all the reality shows on tv at least one time. Currently I love Makin Da Band, Split Ends, Whose Wedding is it Anyway, I propose...at least this week those are my favorites. Anything on the E Channel, Style or Lifetime.

Books: This is a hard one. I like books that empower me so its hard to list.
Likes: Anything in the color pink!!! I especially like rare or hard to find pink items. Like when the pink sidekick came out in limited edition---i soooo had to have that! Funky, different pink Nikes...it is now hard to find rare and different ones since I work with the Sneaker King Ed Lover so this has become a losing battle. I am sure I like more stuff but its hard to think of this stuff on the spot---ha! no pun intended

Dislikes: Lazy people. Complaining people. Complaining is cool but have a solution otherwise shut up! People wasting my time. People who are late.

Hobbies: Radio seems to be both my profession and my hobby because somehow whatever I am doing in my free time is work related and therefore is kinda my hobby
