March is Women's History Month and we're here to take a minute highlighting women in media. This list includes seasoned media professionals as well as those who are on the rise. Celebrate women and share this with friends and family. Compiled by Vanessa Denis

Angela Yee is a radio and TV personality here at Power 105.1 co-host of our beloved, Breakfast Club. Nothing but hard work and persistence has made herself a household name in radio. Angela Yee has been featured in Black Enterprise, VIBE, The Source, The New Yorker and can be seen every morning on Revolt TV.
Soraya Joseph is correspondent for Necole Bitchie where she's interviewed artists like R. Kelly, Kevin Hart, Tahiry Jose and more. She also a partnered with Charlamagne Tha God to launch his website, Cthagodworld.com. Soraya's also an award recipient of the Black Blogger Award in 2013.
Whitney-Gayle Benta worked at MTV News booking artists for interviews for years, but now works for Diddy's Revolt TV network as the Senior Vice President of Music and Talent.
