Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter V" Earns No. 1 + Has Second Largest Streaming Week

Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter V" has only been out for a little over a week and the cultural impact of the album is being felt throughout the industry. While it was well worth the wait it seems as if the album has already earned itself two massive achievements, the first debuting at the Number 1 spot on Billboard (no surprise there). The second accolade is that "Tha Carter V" has the second largest streaming week EVER for an album with 433 million, behind of course Drake's "Scorpion" with 745.9 million streams.

The album which was originally set to release years ago was consistently held back from release due to disputes between Wayne and his mentor Birdman sparking one of the biggest Hip-Hop beefs of the decade... Luckily for us the fans that beef came to an end during Lil Wayne's "Weezyana" festival where the two squashed it all on stage

Congrats on all the success Wayne!
