It's a sad day on the internet as the internet sensation also known as Grumpy Cat has passed away at the age of 7 years old according to her owner this morning.
In a post to the cats twitter account his owners said "We are unimaginably heartbroken to announce the loss of our beloved Grumpy Cat. Besides being our baby and a cherished member of the family, Grumpy Cat has helped millions of people smile all around the world — even when times were tough,” Grumpy Cat’s family wrote in the Twitter post. “Her spirit will continue to live on through her fans everywhere.”
Tardar Sauce aka Grumy Cat became famous and a prominent staple of the internet thanks to the cats permanent frown facial feature.
