During Monday night's Verzuz battle Fabolous explained to viewers why there's two version of his song 'So Into You' and said that Tamia had to have "throat surgery" so Ashanti ended up having to record a version of the song until Tamia's voice got better.
Soooooo Tamia took to Twitter to deny claims that she's ever had throat surgery at any point in her career: "25 years. 8 albums. 0 throat surgeries." During the Verzuz battle Ashanti also said that this was not the story at all, but failed to explain what really happened.
