Lil Moe 6Blocka On “Risky” W/ 22GZ, Chicago Drill, Being Only 15 Years Old

Lil Moe 6Blocka is currently one of the youngest and hottest artists on the rise out of the city of Chicago. After dropping his most recent singles “Ion Know” and “Risky” (Remix) featuring NY’s own 22GZ the young rapper stopped by On The Radar to talk about blowing up at only 15 years old, how he connected with 22Gz on the remix, Chicago drill + more!

With songs like “6Blocka” taking off in past years the young stars' rise to fame has been almost instantaneous thanks to his big following online and youtube. Speaking a bit about his beginnings he expressed that it was around being his friend that really exposed him to music and made him want to give it a shot.

“It started when I was listening to Rooga and one of my homies was making music, we were at the studio one time I started playing around and after I did 6block back in 2017 and after I listen to it I was like I feel I got a voice and I’m somebody you know”

As for the New York connect for his “Risky” Remix with 22GZ Lil Moe expressed it was thanks to the connection made by fellow Chicago rapper Rooga and a line on the song that really solidified the Brooklyn rapper to hop on for the remix & video!

“Me and 22GZ, Rooga been in contact with him, we had been in contact before Risky we were talking. It's like Suburban’s, Spinning, Black Truck then I get that "ain't 22, but I keep a blicky" that part right there I was like he has to get on it, it was over”
